This has to be the best Chinese food I’ve had in such a long time it was 10 out of 10 so so good. The house special lobster dish was incredibly amazing. Best lobster I’ve had. We had the orange chicken, shrimp kung pao, honey walnut, shrimp, pecking duck, braised Japanese tofu, sautéed pea leaves, beef chow fun, fried shrimps, and steam juice dumplings.Service was super great and friendly and very efficient and fast. Very cute restaurant you will have to pay for parking. It was seven dollars at 5 PM.

Great place if you know what to order.I went here around 12 pm on a Friday because where I parked was adjacent to it.I tried the pork and preserved egg porridge (8.45) and the fish maw soup (17.95). They were fine. Porridge is more toward the watery side, and the soup had plenty of fish bladder and frozen crab meat in it. Both were portioned well.We also tried the dim sum Almost all were very good. Chicken feet had a hint of preserved black bean; the hoisin sauce was more dominant here. The one exception was the fried donut, it was refried, and tasted of burnt oil.Next I had the won ton noodles with brisket and tendon (12.95). The won tons were the largest I have seen , double the usual size, and tasted good as well. You get seven od them. The meats were stewed well and were in a watery gravy that covered the noodles. Noodles were the weak point, they were kind of thin and limp, but still serviceable. Friend had the char siu with his wonton noodles (9.95). He remarked it was good, but the pork was baked and not roasted.Notes. The dishes tend to be light on salt here. Which I liked.Place has a lot of takeout orders. There was at one point, they had about 15 persons in line at the till.

The attention to the food in this place is very cared for. The cooks definitely know how to cook every dish to ensure customer satisfaction. Every single dish was delicious, hot, and seasoned appropriately. There’s complimentary hot tea at every table and the service here was spectacular. The thai tea is also amazing!! would come here again

East Garden in Chinatown is a must-visit for dim sum lovers. Their shrimp dumplings are huge and juicy, while the fried dough is crispy and satisfying. The beef rice noodle rolls are soft and tender with just the right amount of sweet soy sauce. We also loved the walnut shrimp—creamy and perfectly paired with candied walnuts.

We stopped for lunch-dinner before living Chinatown. The place was empty (on a Wednesday),except for takeout orders which kept being picked up.Their food is delicious and we plan to come back, we had tea before the meal such a delicious with notes of orange blossom and jasmine. Our meal somewhat was excessive since we wanted to try everything, we kept ordering but didn’t take pictures of the other items. However we recommend this restaurant has such good service and delicious food! There’s plenty of parking and price wise it was a fair amount to pay for such exquisite meal. We will be back soon!

Loved the 9.99 Chinese breakfast/lunch deal they have!! Was here with a friend and we both goth some congee (and a small side) each for only 10. Although, if coming with someone else, I definitely would not advise on both getting congee because the portions were HUGE and are so shareable. So, diversify your dishes!! We also got some dim sum and it was pretty good! We were basically the only people who were not Chinese aunties and uncles and grandmas so you know it’s legit! Good food and good prices in LA’s Chinatown!

I found this little restaurant thanks to a Yelp review. The prices are great which is why I'll be back often and the taste of the food is totally on point! I'm an extremely critical food snob so to be thoroughly satisfied by my order of the tofu and the chicken rice is a feat in and of itself.

Good Cantonese food! Enjoyed the Dim Sum items and the entrees. Probably the best I've had in some time.We went with some cousins and we all enjoyed it. The Chow Mein was perfect. The Beef dry noodles were enjoyable. I especially liked the Har Gow and the molten bao with yellow creme inside.
